Comme chaque année fin novembre et début décembre, L’IIRF organise une école internationale de trois semaines pour militant.e.s et acitvist.e.s. Cette Ecole Ecosocialiste constitue une opportunité unique pour des militant.e.s, pour se rencontrer, apprendre, échanger des expériences et construire des réseaux. Pour faciliter la participation, nous essayons d’avoir des coûts les plus bas possibles et si nécessaire nous aidons au paiement des frais de voyage pour ceux qui viennent des pays du Sud.
In the first lecture of Radical Futures talks series, Aaron Benanav critically discussed new economic theories of the "rise of the robots," which claim that rapidly unfolding processes of computerization and robotization are the main causes of growing problems of unemployment and underemployment worldwide. The lecture discusses the real reasons behind the rise of a global precarious workforce and explores the consequences of these global developments for workers' struggles today.
For over 20 years, the IIRE has organized educational courses for young socialist activists. Since moving to the Lombokstraat, the IIRE has organized a youth-school every year, each with around 20-25 participants. The course provides an intensive introduction to Marxist theory and examinations of current struggles, especially focusing on issues that are relevant for youth movements. Responses from participants in our schools have been very positive.
En mars 2011, nous avons eu l’honneur de recevoir à l’IIRE, la nouvelle ambassadrice de Cuba aux Pays-Bas, Madame Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina. L’ambassadrice y a rencontré Marijke Colle, directrice de l’IIRE, les anciens directeurs Susan Caldwell et Antonio Carmona Báez , James Cockcroft, membre de l’IIRE ainsi qu’une délégation de l’IIRE Manille.
