Contradictions and Limits of Neoliberal European Governance – Laura Horn, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Luego de una exitosa serie inaugural de seminarios en 2007/2008, Regresos del Marxismo continuará a partir de octubre 2008. Los temas en la conferencia de este año incluyen: política latinoamericana contemporánea; la política de la 'gentrification'; lectura de capital, feminismo radical, marxismo, filosofía y más.

En años recientes se ha visto un renovado interés en el marxismo alrededor del mundo. Una nueva generación está descubriendo la fertilidad de muchas de las tradiciones del marxismo para entender y tratar de cambiar al mundo. Este seminario busca reunir académicos, escritores y activistas de diferentes campos para discutir la relevancia de las ideas marxistas en los debates contemporáneos.
