At the end of the year, in November and December we had our yearly Ecosocialist School. Two comrades from the US recorded a conversation looking back the school, speaking about what were for them the high points of the course.
In 2020, it is seventy-five years since the liberation of Auschwitz. As a young resistance-activist, Ernest Mandel barely escaped death in the camps himself. We publish here a 1988 essay in which he attempted to outline the preconditions for the Nazi genocide.
Our Institute was founded in 1981 on the initiative of among others, Ernest Mandel (1923 – 1995). Mandel was one of the most creative and prolific revolutionary Marxists in the post-war world. In five decades of theoretical work, he published some 2000 articles and 30 books.
